Richie Bekolay

I am a diehard kayak fisherman and outdoorsman living in Navarre, Florida. Originally from southeastern Wisconsin, my fishing roots began very early in life. I spent most of my free time pursuing the popular freshwater species with a true passion for the mighty musky. I currently serve in the Air Force and have expanded my skill set from the sweet water, to the Chesapeake Bay, and now to the Gulf of Mexico in the Florida panhandle. I am an accomplished tournament angler, most notably taking 1st place in the “Slam” division in both the 2013 YakAttack Tournament and the 2012 Tidewater Kayak Anglers Association Kayak Fish For Charity Tournament (3rd largest kayak fishing event in the country) as well as top 10 finishes in 2013 Kayak Bass Fishing Open and the 2012 IFA Kayak Fishing Tour Atlantic Division Angler of the Year race. Along with Johnson Outdoors and Ocean Kayak, I am also a pro staff member with Werner Paddles, Kokatat, All Pro Rods, RAM Mounts, PowerTeam Lures, and a HOOK1 Crew Member. If you're on the waters or at an outdoors event, don't be surprised if you run into me and my "Cheesehead" accent. You can follow my fish tales through my blog; Hook, Line, & Sinker at hookline-sinker.net.
